Privacy Policy

Navigal respects the right to privacy of those using the Navigal.pl website. In particular, the company is concerned for the protection of their personal data and applies appropriate organizational and technical solutions to prevent any interference in the privacy of Users by third parties. Our actions are aimed at guaranteeing Users a feeling of full security at a level appropriate to the applicable law, including:

1. Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated April 27th 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repealing of Directive 95/46/EC (general regulation on data protection);
2. The Act dated July 18th 2002 on the provision of electronically performed services;
3. The Act dated July 16th 2004 – the Telecommunications Law.

Use of the Navigal.pl website is made possible using a secure SSL protocol, which significantly increases the protection of data transmission over the Internet.

Please be advised that the Website may contain external links enabling its Users to directly reach other websites, or when using the Website, Cookies may be additionally placed on Users’ devices, these coming from other entities, in particular from suppliers such as: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, in order to enable Users to use those of the Website’s functions integrated with those services. Each of these suppliers defines the rules for the use of cookies in their privacy policy, and we therefore have no influence on the privacy policy of those suppliers and their use of cookies. For security reasons, we recommend that, before using the resources offered by other websites or services, each User should acquaint himself with the document regarding the privacy policy and the use of cookies, if such information has been made available, and if it is not available, contact the administrator of the given website or service in order to obtain information in this regard.

Dictionary of terms:

• cookie – this is a small piece of information saved by the server on the User’s computer, which information the server can read when reconnecting from that computer,
• system log – this is information sent to the server by the User’s computer at the time of each connection; this may contain various data (e.g. IP number), from which it is possible to more or less precisely determine from where the connection arose,
• IP address – the individual number that, as a rule, each computer connected to the Internet has; the IP number may be permanently associated with a given computer (static) or assigned to it for a given connection (dynamic),
• SSL protocol – a special standard for data transmission over the Internet, in which the transmission is encrypted, as opposed to a regular transmission, where the transmission takes place in open text.

I. Data Collection

Within the scope of the User’s use of the Website, we store http queries directed to the server. The resources viewed are identified by URL addresses and concern:

The public IP address of the end device from which the query came;

• The public IP address of the end device from which the query came;
• The name of the User’s station – identification performed by an http protocol, if possible;
• The User’s name quoted in the authorization process;
• The time at which the query was submitted;
• The first line of the http request;
• The http response code;
• The number of data sent by the server;
• The URL address of the website previously visited by the User (the so-called referrer link) – in cases where the Website was accessed via an external link;
• Information about the User’s Internet browser;
• Information on any errors that occurred during execution of the http transaction.

The above-mentioned data is not associated with specific individuals browsing the Website.

Websites do not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies. The information collected in this way is used, among other things, to:

1. Manage the Website;
2. Identify possible security threats;
3. Study Users’ aggregated traffic on the Website and for statistical purposes, including the use of the tools Google Analytics and GetResponse, only in cases where mailing campaigns are additionally conducted.

Within the scope of using the Website’s functions, the User may however be asked to provide the following personal data:

• first and last name;
• e-mail address;
• phone number;
• company name and address;
• the content of the contact message.

Provision of the data indicated above is voluntary, but without its provision it may not be possible to use the Website within the scope of functions that require this (e.g. handling a publication order).

II. Processing of personal data

Data regarding a User collected via the Website may be used to determine and adapt the Website’s content to the User’s needs and to answer the User’s query as submitted by his using the contact form.

The collected personal data of Users is not forwarded to any international organizations or to third countries. Personal data may be processed by other entities only in accordance with EU or national laws.

Personal data collected by means of the forms for which the User has consented is processed for the purpose and for the period necessary to properly handle the required task. The details are specified in the relevant clauses of specific forms.

User’s rights

With regard to the processing of his personal data, a User has the following rights:

• the right of access to that data;
• the right to make corrections to that data;
• the right to delete or limit the processing of that data;
• the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body for personal data protection – the Chairman of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

III. The use of cookies

In accordance with Article 173 of the Act dated July 16th 2004 the Telecommunications Law, the Website uses cookies that constitute IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the User’s end device. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device and a unique number.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

1. To facilitate the User’s use of the Website while browsing it;
2. The later association of that User in the event of reconnection to the Website using the device on which the cookies were saved;
3. For creating statistics that help to understand how Website Users use websites, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content;
4. For adapting the content of the Website’s pages to the User’s specific preferences and optimize the use of websites, tailored to the individual needs of the User.

As part of the Website service, we use the following types of cookies:

• “Session cookies” – these are stored on the User’s end device until he logs out, leaves the website or turns off the web browser;

The information is in no way linked with the personal data of the Website User and is not used to identify the User. The scope of information automatically collected depends on the settings of the User’s Internet browser. Changing the conditions governing storing or receiving cookies is possible by configuring the settings in Internet browsers, for example:

If a User does not want to receive Cookies, he may change the settings of his browser. However, disabling those cookies necessary for authentication processes, security or maintaining the User’s preferences may make it difficult, or in extreme cases even prevent the use of the Website.
